Cancellation Policy

OVERVIEW Suitable for complete beginners and hobbyists. Formats: 1‑to‑1 or small group (2–3 people). Groups must be pre‑arranged by you (friends/family/colleagues). I don’t form or match groups. Duration: 4–7 hours, depending on location and conditions. Typical day: Camera setup, fieldcraft, composition, and extensive guided practice. Wildlife is unpredictable; sightings can’t be guaranteed. LOCATIONS Counties: Co. Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Wexford. Examples: Phoenix Park, Bull Island, Tolka Park, Turvey Park, Glendalough, Wexford North Slob. Have a different location in mind? Contact me via the “Get in Touch” page. SCHEDULE Usually early morning for best light. Exact times confirmed after booking and vary by season/location. PRICING AND PAYMENT 1‑to‑1: €180 per person. Small group (2–3): from €120 per person. Prices vary by location (travel, permits, site access). Payment in full upon booking (online). BOOKING WINDOW Please book at least one week in advance. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING All workshops are non‑refundable. Reschedule free up to 48 hours before start time. Within 48 hours: non‑refundable and cannot be rescheduled. WEATHER Light rain is fine and often good for wildlife. If conditions are unsafe or clearly unsuitable, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. TRANSPORT To be confirmed. If not provided, you’ll receive directions and a meeting point. EQUIPMENT AND PREPARATION Camera you’re comfortable with. Lens: telephoto recommended; minimum effective focal length ~180mm. Smartphones/compact cameras: not supported for these workshops. Bring spare batteries, memory cards, lens cloth; tripod/binoculars/rain cover optional. Wear neutral, weather‑appropriate layers, sturdy footwear; bring water/snacks, sun/rain protection. I’ll help set up focus modes, AF points, ISO, white balance, etc. DRONES Not permitted. ETHICS AND SAFETY Respectful distances, avoid sensitive areas/times, follow site rules; animal welfare first. Species‑specific techniques taught with emphasis on safety and minimal disturbance. ACCESSIBILITY AND FITNESS Light walking on uneven ground may be involved. Many locations can be adapted—share your needs in advance. AGE POLICY Under‑18s must be accompanied by an adult. USE OF IMAGES You may use images for personal portfolio and social media; follow site rules and local regulations. INSURANCE Customers are responsible for personal, travel, and equipment insurance.
